I liked the style of the main hall (bar, breakfast, games, sitting area), there were good vibes, this place definitely isn't boring. I stayed in the female only dorm and it was a good choice - the price was a bit higher than for the mixed ones - but the female only was a quieter place. Clean room, I also liked that there were plenty of spacious lockers (bring your own luggage padlock/number lock!). The cleaning staff did regularly take care of the rooms and bathroom/toilettes. Some people weren't clean - I mean the guests - so keeping the areas clean was a challenge sometimes... At the reception very nice staff. Overall a pleasant experience. Excellent location. Only 6-minute walk to the British museum, 8-minute walk to the Regent's Canal.

The staff here are part of what makes this hybrid hostel/hotel so comfortable. The chef makes an awesome Full English. Any problem that might arise is taken care of. The sports area has good football. Kids and families can play pool, arcade games or shuffleboard, or the more competitive can spar at shuffleboard. The pub atmosphere is relaxed and fun, not aggressive. The only addition this London location could make is a morning yoga like in Madrid. It is o e of the best hybrid hostels in London. Three times I have stayed here, each was a nice experience!

Everything was kept very clean all the time (which is the most important thing to me). The bed is comfortable, as well as the pillow they give you. Each bed has one drawer that can be closed with a locker, which fits definitely a lot of things, it was very comfortable to keep all of my things (they were a bunch). The room also has a sink, which is useful so you don’t have to go to the toilet for every single thing. The staff is very nice, friendly and available for anything you might need. The food at the bar is great.

Rooms were fun to look at, loved the floor names! Felt like a very cool place. Beds were very comfy, staff were kind, and the check in/check out process was unexpectedly super simple. Right around the corner from Gays the Word too, which was a great surprise! Me and my partner booked out a 2bed bunk bed, it was nice that it functioned like a private room but still at a cheaper hostel rate.

The property is in a great location, for a hostel there are lots of things to do if that’s what you’re looking for yet as its so big it’s not really noisy when you’re trying to sleep. It’s really good value and does exactly what it says on the tin! Caters for all ages and for all, from solo travellers to groups. At the end of the day it’s a hostel and I think really good value.
